I've been writing children's books for most of my life.

As a child, I created books, too! These books were riddled with errors and misspellings, but my parents loved them and always encouraged me to keep writing. 

My award-winning, lyrical books explore themes of nature, habitats and wildlife.

In addition to writing I love birding, wildlife gardening and working in my ceramics studio, where I create lots of beautiful & whimsical bird creations.
